In 2026, the Tour de France Femmes launches from the shores of Lake Geneva for the first time ever—and you’ll witness women’s cycling history from the very start. Your adventure begins in Switzerland, where you’ll ride through the UNESCO-listed Lavaux vineyards with their centuries-old slopes before experiencing two unforgettable days of Tour de France Femmes access. You’ll ride the official Stage 1 racecourse, cross the actual finish line and take podium photos in Lausanne, and watch the stage finale from VIP grandstand seating. The next day brings insider access to the Stage 2 Starting Village in Aigle, complete with a tour of the EF Pro Cycling Team bus and a chance to watch the peloton depart. After roadside spectating on Stage 3 near Geneva, you’ll head to the French Alps for a few days of riding around Lake Annecy’s crystal-clear waters—climbing toward Col de Leschaux and taking on the steep ascent of Col du Forclaz. Along the way, you’ll tour the Maison Cailler chocolate factory, explore medieval Gruyères with its famous castle and cheese, and discover why the French Alps have become a mecca for cyclists worldwide. This is where your passion for the sport collides with history in the making.

Your Tour de France Femmes adventure begins—in Switzerland! Board your overnight flight to Geneva, where you’ll soon be witnessing cycling history at the 2026 Grand Départ and riding iconic Alpine roads.
Montreux
Day 2: Arrival in Geneva and transfer to Montreux

Welcome to Switzerland! You’ll touch down in Geneva and transfer to Montreux, an elegant lakeside town on the shores of Lake Geneva where the Alps rise dramatically across the water. This stunning setting will be your home for the first four nights as you experience the Tour de France Femmes Grand Départ.
- Meet an EF representative at the airport.
- Transfer 1–1.5 hours to your hotel in Montreux to check in and explore your surroundings.
- Raise a glass of beer or wine while you get to know your fellow riders and Tour Directors during a Welcome Orientation.
- Enjoy a Welcome Dinner and toast to the adventure to come.
